Business administration is a challenging subject, and students need to be able to work on their own projects, including problem solving and problem solving exercises, according to the Sajnan S. Kani Institute for Advanced Education (SKI).
“The students will be taught a variety of skills that can be applied to the management of large organisations,” said Dr. Sajna.
“For example, they will be able learn to identify and assess potential problems and develop solutions to those problems.”
Kani’s students will also be able get the skills they need to succeed in the industry, and help the institute’s alumni move forward.
“They will get the opportunity to develop skills in their business skills and to apply them to the business they work in,” said Sajnani S. Srinivasan, director of the institute.
The Sajnian S.K. Khan institute in Toronto is the only one in Canada that provides both a university and an apprenticeship program.
“It’s about taking a risk and doing something new,” said Jasmine Vaz, an SKI student.
Skipping the school and the job interview processSkipper says it was difficult for him to find an apprenticeships position at an oil company when he was studying at a vocational school in B.C.
But when the institute came to him with an opportunity, he jumped at it.
“I was a bit nervous because it was an internship, but I was actually able to do a lot of work in my day job,” he said.
“So it’s definitely worth it.”
Skippers experience was also different from most of his peers.
“Most of my peers in my class had been in school for five or six years and were still in school at the time,” he recalled.
“They were just getting used to the office and how to interact with other people.”
The apprenticeship offered the opportunity for him and other students to be involved in the management process.
“A lot of the work that they do is basically helping the student understand how their business is structured, what their role is in the company and the management structure of the company,” said Vaz.
“There are lots of tasks that they have to manage, like dealing with customer issues.”
While the apprenticeship was initially very rewarding, Sajni said he was disappointed when he realized he had to wait six months before he could get the offer of a job at another company.
“When I got it, I was like, ‘What?
I just got an offer of an internship?’
But when I got the offer I was really disappointed,” he told CBC News.
Sajni had to put his skills to work at a factory where he was working as a machinist, where he worked seven days a week, eight hours a day.
“It was a very different environment.
There was a lot more pressure, but also it was a way of training yourself,” he added.
“I had to learn new skills, and I had to keep working and working until I was ready to take a job.”
Students are taught to assess potential risksThe apprenticeships offer a valuable opportunity for students to learn to work in a team, and that requires some of the skills that are taught in the school.
“There are skills that students need in a real-world situation, and we need to understand how to manage that and how the business works,” said Naveen Bhattacharya, an assistant professor of business administration at the University of Toronto.
Bhattacharyan said it was important to develop the students’ critical thinking and communication skills.
“You need to get their attention.
You need to make them feel like you have a sense of responsibility for them,” he explained.
“You need them to think, ‘How can I help them?'”
The apprentices will be trained to be effective leadersIn a yearlong apprenticeship, students will learn the skills needed to succeed at a company in a high-growth, high-risk environment.
“We have an environment where there is a lot to be done,” said Bhattayas.
“Students need to have a good understanding of how the company is structured.”
“There is a very high probability that if we don’t address these risks and start doing these activities, the whole company will collapse and you’ll see the whole organization collapse,” he continued.
Srinivasam, the director of Sajnin S.A., said it is important to ensure the students get the training they need.
“The first year, we need them [the apprentices] to have the skills and the ability to manage their business in a way that is sustainable and can withstand the risk of failure.
And that’s really what this is about,” he argued.”
