The next step in business administration will be awarded this week to Chinese business students who have earned their degrees in China, according to the Department of Business Administration.
The students will receive a total of 1,000,000 yuan ($16,500) and be given the chance to study abroad for three years, according the university’s website.
The scholarships will be distributed to more than 2,500 students from the Beijing region, with the final allocation expected to be distributed in the first quarter of 2020.
Chinese business students are increasingly choosing to study overseas, with more than 100,000 studying abroad in the past 12 months.
The number of business students studying abroad has grown from 8,000 in 2012 to 27,000 last year.
